Focused on unlocking the potential of Africa, Asia and Europe emerging cities with a million population or more.
While existing traditional services treat drivers poorly and rely on their low incomes to boost their business,Vite is circumventing this by offering a model that is mutually beneficial for riders, drivers, and cities involved. Unlike the huge cuts charged by competition, slicing up to a quarter of driver income, Vite drivers keep what they earn, with the catch that 5-10% of their income goes into Vite Impact Fund (VIF), maintaining technological infrastructure of the service and funding social causes. We believe that great organizations have to be driven by purpose in order to create a healthy profit model.
On top of that, Vitecoin will remove the hassle of carrying cash, credit card and become the leading digital currency settlement layer between riders and drivers.

The answer is yes. Big telecommunication networks such as MTN and Vodafone introduced mobile money e-wallets to African nations – people use them to store cash, pay their bills and transfer money to their friends and families. According to a report by Bank of Ghana, more than $500 million transactions were made through mobile money platforms in Ghana alone. But here is the point: All Vitecoin transactions are entirely digital, meaning that riders can purchase and use Vitecoin at the tap of a button within the app, without fear of internal network failure that is common occurrence with mobile money platforms.
There are more than 150 emerging market cities across Africa, Europe and Asia with a population of a million or more without a ridesharing service.Combined with a widespread smartphone adoption, Africa’s urban transport market alone stands at $4 billion annually and growing.
Vite will be operational in 35 cities globally with more than 250,000 empowered partner drivers, 10 million active riders and annual revenue of $100 million.
Vite will list on exchanges no later than December 24th 2018, once the ICO is completed.
